I am pretty sure couple wear makes me physically ill. If I see a couple wearing matching t shirts I want to barf. Or worse, a whole matching outfit. Double so for a guy who is wearing a pink shirt. Now put take a matching couple both wearing pink t shirts, outfit and all and I need to crawl into solitary confinement for a few days.

Taipei

So I haven't forgotten about my trip to Taipei taken in the latter part of July. But I have forgotten to post some pics. Here are some memories to share.

Korea is certainly a vain country; continuous gawking in the mirrors, men wearing makeup and self mutilation to look good (I once had to encounter pus filled tissues and scissors while eating dinner!) If it is one thing they know, it is fashion. If it is one thing they lack, it is common sense. Above is a pic I snapped while hiking. And it is not a one time deal either. I have seen this multiple times. It is like a fashion must to wear shoes while hiking! Why?? I am a girl of practicality. I actually own more pairs of rubber boots than high heels!! Why would I want my feet to look like Barbie's decorated with blisters and calluses and corns??

Well another year has come and gone and so has another mud festivcal. This year was even more spectaular than last year, as there was more people to enjoy the festivities. From mud wrestling to mud sliding, a mud pool and even a mud jail, there was no shortage of fun. And what mud festival would be complete but a sand fight on the beach. I am still trying to get the mud and sand out of my ear!
