Little Miss Popular
I just cannot get over how unbelievably popular I am!! Okay, that sounds so self centered. But it is amazing the people that you meet and the conncetions that you both have. I love it!

Seoraksan
Seoraksan is a tourist area that derves a few visits and so this was my second time hiking the moutain. The moutain ranges stretch over an rea of 373 square kilometers with the highest peaks reaching 1708 meters. Our first stop was the Heundeul Bawi Rock (meaning unsteady rock). And unsteady it was, with my big muscles I was able to see it shake! Our hike to the very top was cold and snowy. But it was all worth it to see the awesome view from above. Once back at the hotel, we had dinner and engaged in some drinking activites. From the drinking and the singing, let's just say that I did not get very much sleep! The next day awoke to another early morning hike that took us along the Jujeongol course to the waterfalls, to capture the wondeful scenery along the way. Here are some pics from the weekend!

Scavenger Hunt
Friday night out in Itaewon led into Saturday morning and the great Seoul scavenger hunt. As tired as I was, I was excited to get this thing on the go. Our team was efficient in scoping out things and finding the items on the list. In fact, we were so efficient that we got the most points and won! We all went out for eats and drinks afterwords and our team didn't have to pay. This was a photo scavenger hunt, so pictures only and at least one team mate had to be in the photo. Items were given a point value. Most people were understanding when we asked to take their picture and posed for us and some more were just shy and said no. The fun pictures were the ones were we just sneaked up on them and tried to get the best shot possible. Some of the items on the list included:
- Someone talking on a colored cell phone in front of a brand-name restaurant
- Girls holding hands or locking arms
- Find a foreign embassy – preferably for your homeland
- A kid in an animal hat
- A dog in a sweater or with dyed hair
- A woman on the street, wearing a hanbok
- A Korean reading a book or newspaper in English
- Matching dressed couples
- A non-Korean car
- A picture of a building or thing with the English word “Happy”
- A traditional Korean street performance or palace ceremony
- A Disney character
- Girls in school uniform
- A konglish T-shirt or product
